BREAKING: NASCAR CEO Arrested for DUI, Oxycodone

According to TMZ, Brian France, the CEO and Chairman of NASCAR, was arrested for DUI and possession of oxycodone in the Hamptons. TMZ is reporting that France's blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit. France was pulled over by authorities after blowing through a stop sign.

France was held overnight for arraignment and released Monday morning from Harbor Village Justice Court.

France has been CEO since 2003 and was rumored to have interest in buying the Carolina Panthers before David Tepper took ownership.

The news comes just a day after NASCAR made headlines for crowning Chase Elliott after he won his first NASCAR race.
