Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is scared to fly after nearly dying in a 2008 plane crash. As a result, he will not play with the band when they go to Australia in 2013.
Barker is currently with the band in Europe, but they took a boat. But, that will be a much tougher task for a trip to Australia. But, Barker is open to overcoming his fears. Talking to Red Bulletin, Barker says:
"I'm contemplating getting knocked out and getting on a plane to Australia. I want to overcome that eventually. My kids are scared to death to fly. I want them to witness me overcome it."
Blink-182 has been working on a new album. It is unknown when new material will be released, however. With their touring schedule and side projects, Blink-182 is quite busy.
