The Black Keys spent a week in the studio in July. Singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach tells Rolling Stone that it wasn't, "the most focused studio session," but the duo did, "get some ideas down and started the ball rolling."
The band has several shows lined up for the rest of the year including tours of Australia and Europe. So, it still may be awhile before they release new material or even get to record much of it. Auerbach says, "We never know what's going to happen."
The Black Keys recently released the video for Little Black Submarines.
