Neil Young headlined the Global Citizen Festival and members of Foo Fighters and The Black Keys joined Neil's band Crazy Horse for an all-star rendition of Young's classic, Rockin' in the Free World.  Neil was out front with Foo Fighters fron-man Dave Grohl and The Black Keys front-man Dan Auerbach.  The other performers also joined in to sing back-up.

The 66-year-old Neil Young had no trouble keeping up with the younger guitarists, despite being 23 years older than Grohl and 33 years older than Auerbach.  It reminded many fans of Young's time playing with Pearl Jam in the 1990s.

The Global Festival was a free concert in New York coinciding with the United Nations' meeting in New York.  Their goal was to raise awareness regarding worldwide poverty.
