The Black Keys continue to share more information on their plan to record a new album.  We knew the plan was for Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney to record sometime in early 2013 and now Auerbach has gotten specific:

"We have a couple of months blocked early next year, like February/March...We usually start around 11 and then work till 3 or 4 in the morning and that's everyday. Our favorite place to be is in the studio."

Auerbach added that the band could crank out an album in as little as two weeks.  He says the records are snap shots in time.  He says, "I listen to a record and I remember what I was listening to that week, where we were eating lunch and what kind of car we were driving and stuff like that."
