Green Day will induct Guns N' Roses into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, according to Rolling Stone. When the list of speakers was announced a few weeks ago, nobody was listed for Guns N' Roses. The lack of an induction speaker was just one factor to the drama that has been the Guns N' Roses Hall of Fame induction.
Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum, and Dizzy Reed all plan on attending. Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin have not committed. Slash has said that the band will not play, though he would love it if they did, but Axl "hates his guts." Steven Adler called the current band lineup "hacks" and later apologized.
Other induction speakers include Chris Rock, who will induct the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chuck D. who will induct the Beastie Boys.
