The Carolina Hurricanes assigned 12 players to the Charlotte Checkers that included:

Forwards: Drayson Bowman, Zach Boychuck, Chris Durno, Jon Matsumoto, Jerome Samson, Brett Sutter, and Chris Terry

Defensemen: Justin Krueger, Mathiew Roy, and Bobby Sanguinetti

Goaltenders: Mike Murphy and Justin Peters

The players will join Charlotte's training camp on Friday.
