Plenty of people love mocking Nickelback.  Of course, some do not understand all of the Nickelback hate.  I am in mood to break down every reason people may have a distaste for the band, but I do want to offer one possible explanation.

See.  That was in Portugal.  Portugal is in Europe.  They do not speak English.  They speak Portuguese.  Portuguese is a completely different language than English.  Clearly, there is a language barrier.  Nickelback probably began the concert screaming, "are you ready to rock?"  That was clearly lost in translation.  What the Portuguese audience must have heard was, "are you ready to stone?"
