Cage the Elephant is currently touring with Foo Fighters (They won't be in Charlotte.  Social Distortion joins the Fighters' tour in November).  Unfortunately, their drummer became ill.  Jared Champion's (great name) appendix burst.  He will be fine and is expected to return to the stage, but the band was forced to find a temporary replacement.

A substitute drummer began the set and the band was noticeably tentative, according to reviews.  That is a major change for the normally high energy band.  But, they changed drummers again in the middle of their set and the new guy was a huge shot in the arm.

The front-man for the headliner.  Apparently, he played drums in some other band.

UPDATE!  Here is Cage the Elephant (not the best quality, but not the worst) with their substitute drummer.  Also, if the hints weren't enough (and apparently they weren't for some), the drummer is Dave Grohl.
