Jack Daniel launched NEW ROCK 1065 The End in 1995 as the station's Program Director and afternoon drive host. In the 15 years since he has seen Alternative Music go through many changes and incarnations. Jack Daniel has been fortunate enough to spend most of his entire radio career in Charlotte starting in the mid 1970’s with WPEG, WAYS, WROQ, WBCY, Z100, WRFX, WEDJ, WWMG and WEND since May 12, 1995. His programming and on-air format experience ranges from Top 40, Album Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative and Modern Rock, Oldies, Talk Radio and Country. “Radio has changes a lot since I started doing it, but it’s part of who I am. My love for music got me started and when I was 11, I used to broadcast music from my stereo through the CB radio that my dad had”
