Offspring's lead singer Dexter Holland and Dead Sara frontwoman Emily Armstronghave posted a video online that shows them performing the Offspring song "Gone Away" together at an October 2012 show in Los Angeles and also recording a new studio version of the track. Dexter said, "When we started building our own set list, I realized the stripped-down version of 'Gone Away,' which we've been doing for a few years, would fit Emily's voice really well. It turned out to be a special moment in the show each night." The Offspring is headed to Australia next month, while Dead Sara will open for Muse on their upcoming North American trek.  Both bands were in Charlotte last year.  Offspring headlined the End of Summer Weenie Roast and Dead Sara played the night before at the "Teenie Weenie."
