Without the cooperation of the members of Alice in Chains, Alan does his best to interview other musicians that may, or may not, have influenced AIC throughout the years....
Disturbed/Device frontman David Draiman's brother, Ben Draiman, has posted a new video online for the song "Avalanche." The song is the latest single from Ben's debut EP, The Past Is Not Far Behind, which came out last October. Unlike his brother, who specializes in industrial metal and making monkey sounds while singing, Ben is a singer/songwriter who attempts more melodic style that incorporates a piano.
Ben performs as a solo artist in Israel, where he currently lives. After hearing this I'm going out on a limb and saying it won't be shooting up the charts over here in the states any time soon. Wow.
OH, and while we're at it... Here's the Chickeneers!
Brent and the boys from Shinedown recently stopped by the Warner Sound online program The Live Room to perform the track "I'll Follow You." It's one of my favorite songs on the new CD because it's SOOO different from what you're used to from Shinedown. Check out the video below
During a recent co-headlining tour with Three Days Grace, Shinedown guitaris,t Zach Myers, regularly joined opening act P.O.D.onstage to play their cover of U2's 'Bullet the Blue Sky." Here's a video of THAT too!
