WELCOME HOME!
JENNA ELFMAN, who plays on NBC's DC-based comedy 1600 PENN, says screening her new show with the PRESIDENT, the VEEP and her cast-mates at the WHITE HOUSE is "thumbs up!"
The show features ELFMAN as a trophy wife-type FLOTUS, with her son, who, in college, burned down his frathouse. The First Daughter? She's taking pregnancy tests in the White House bathrooms.
And... the PRESIDENT? Well, he's played by BILL PULLMAN, who was the POTUS in the INDEPENDENCE DAY film which also starred WILL SMITH.
No, there are no aliens to fight in this comedy which debuts tomorrow night on NBC.
The show was co-created by President Obama's former speechwriter Jon Lovett.
