FREEDOM! FREEDOM I SAY!
So this awesome photo shows a couple at West Point out and enjoying their night at Winter Formal. This story rocks because there is no crazy attention on them. It's just the guys in the snow, taking photos like any other couple would. THAT IS CHANGE! Not freaking out about the story, but simply putting it there and saying "isn't this nice." Because it is, and it's normal as anything, and why shouldn't it be.
At West Point under "DADT," gay students had to keep their sexuality a secret AT RISK OF EXPULSION. But now that it's out, comfort is available to the children who no longer have to sneak around just to be with the one they're crushing on, the one they love, the one they even just wanna mess around with as the straight folk do on a slutty frat night.
"For the most part, it allows us to be a complete person, as opposed to compartmentalizing our lives into different types of boxes," said newly commissioned Air Force 2nd Lt. Dan Dwyer, who just graduated.
Good for you, guys. USA! USA! USA! Seriously though... all other states, pay attention. Not allowing gay marriage, it's honestly just idiotic and pointless. Kthanksforlisteningbye.
