VERY COOL!

IF THE GRAMMYS were scored by SOCIAL MEDIA... how would it all go down? Who would win the awards which - at times - can swing from the very hipster to the very popular... and can sometimes, make no sense?

This organization - ACTIV8SOCIAL - thought about this - and what they found is pretty awesome...

For example, only 42 percent of the Grammy nominees have Instagram accounts!

Here's more from their article:

Here are some other social stats for this year’s Grammy nominees:

  • For Song of the Year, Carly Rae Jepsen takes home the prize for most views on her infectious song, “Call Me Maybe” (3.9M).
  • Out of all nominated artists, Taylor Swift is queen bee with the most subscribers to herchannel on YouTube (973,204).
  • For those nominated for Record of the Year, Taylor Swift has the largest fanbase onFacebook (39M) with The Black Keys coming in close second (2.7M).
  • We couldn’t resist giving Psy an honorable mention. His viral track, “Gangnam Style,” still has us dancing and has racked up over 1.2 billion views on YouTube and is still growing at a impossible pace.
