After performing at Weenie Roast, Anberlin discussed their new album and life on the road with DZL.  The band will release their sixth studio album, Vital, on October 26.  For the album, the band returned to work with producer Aaron Sprinkle, who produced the band's first three albums.

In October, Anberlin will tour with Smashing Pumpkins.  In general, the band loves hitting the road.  The opportunity to travel all around the globe is particularly pleasing to the Florida band.  They talked about embracing the differences in cultures, even when they affect how an audience reacts to their music.  Front-man Stephen Christian says Japanese audiences are particularly unique, "they clap for one second, then they stop."

With a new album on the way, the band also talked about changes in the music industry and how people get new music.  They mentioned how easy it is to download music.  Christian says, "as long as people take time to enjoy the record, I don't care how they get it."
