Canadian band Our Lady Peace has been around awhile. At Weenie Roast, they sat down with Rozak and reminisced about life as a band. Front-man Raine Maida credits their ability to stay together to the music saying, "If the music stays relevant within the band, I think there is still something there worth fighting for."
The guys also discussed their tour with Van Halen during the early days of the band. It clearly wasn't something they wanted to do. "We said no. We said no again. Then we finally a call saying if you guys don't take this tour, you're dropped from your record label...from the president of the record label.
But, it was not all bad for Our Lady Peace. "It turned us into a rock band," says Maida citing the pressure to perform in front of large audiences who weren't interested in seeing them.
